Effective prayer is not about persuading God to accomplish our will, but about approaching Him through Christ with hearts transformed to seek His will above our own.

Effective prayer begins with a heart surrendered to God’s will, trusting His promises, walking in holiness, and seeking above all the glory of Jesus Christ.

May we evaluate our traditions and make sure that they align with God’s word. We want to serve and become like Jesus. It is precisely when we know His word and live for His honor and glory that we are doing His will.

Fear gives way to faith when God opens our eyes to see that He is greater than every problem we face.
