When instructed by our Lord we give with thanksgiving in our hearts with the glorious hope and expectation that a cup of cold water offered in His name is never done in vanity even if we must wait a lifetime to see the fruit of His glorious request!  Never tire doing good for unto much is given

Happiness is not the product of one’s circumstances or the fabrication of one’s mind but a gift from God granted to those in His family who rejoice in His works and covenantal faithfulness to their Creator.

They are blessed because even though they continue to wrestle with their sinful nature they know that through their hunger and thirst and by overtures of grace and the power of the Spirit they can approach God’s throne and with each step they take they will draw nearer to He who is the
