It is in the lifeboats of praise, blessings, persecution and trials and tribulations that we draw nearer to Jesus and He draws nearer to us!

As Christians we all want to get close to Jesus but few are able to develop a close, personal relationship with Him due to focusing on their own needs first instead of the kingdom of God.

How often in trials and tribulations do we needlessly suffer because we are seeking the advice of others and cherishing sin in our hearts when we ought to get before the Great Physician Jesus, repent and experience His grace and mercy?

The following sermon is going to review one of the most controversial passages in the Bible and suggest that it is not about double predestination but Paul’s anguish over Israel whom he is praying might come to believe in Christ and become saved!
