This sermon starts off answering the question: does God keep secrets from us? The answer is, of course, YES. God intentionally does not tell us everything. For example He has not told us everything about heaven or when Christ will return. What God does reveal concerning Himself, however, is revealed to all people, everywhere! There are also many things God does not tell us because we simply would not understand these truths – such as how the universe is held together? The second part of this sermon focuses on when Christians should keep secrets. When it comes to having trusting relationships, we as Christians must keep things confidential. When it comes to our internal sins, keeping them secret from God who sees and knows everything, is impossible. Since this is the case then repentance becomes crucial to maintaining a healthy relationship with God.
